Celebrate Bicycle Safety Month with the Town of Clover!  May is National Bike Month and Clover will be celebrating safety at our annual Mayor’s Ride & Bike Rodeo.  Join Live Well Clover on Friday, May 10th from 5:30 to 6:30 PM for a bike rodeo and then immediately following the rodeo, enjoy a group bike ride through Clover led by Mayor Greg Holmes!

BIKE RODEO – 5:30pm to 6:30pm, limited to ages 12 & under
Learn the skills and securities needed to safely ride a bicycle. Understand the importance of having a properly fitted helmet and the reasons why it is vital to always wear a helmet. You will also be taught how to properly inspect your bicycle. Recognize crucial hand signals known to drivers everywhere. Apply these skills to various obstacle courses.

MAYOR’S RIDE – departs at 6:30pm.  Plan on arriving 10 minutes prior to sign in & register. All participants will need to sign a waiver. Helmets will be provided, while supplies last, courtesy of Live Well Clover.
Join Mayor Greg Holmes on a 5-mile bike ride through Clover and show off the skills learned at the bike rodeo.  Mayor’s Ride is opened to everyone under these conditions:
• ALL participants must wear a helmet
• ALL riders must have their bikes inspected
NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

This FREE community event will be held at Memorial Stadium’s Parking Lot, located at 401 Clinton Avenue in Clover, South Carolina.
